Welcome!  This is a periodic podcast all about my experiences making yarn through the process of spinning.  All areas of the process are discussed, and there will be something here for any spinner, novice or experienced.  There is a Ravelry group for podcast listeners, called Yarnspinnerstales Spin In.  Join me in my barn today, and learn how to harvest the wonderful fiber angora from a rabbit.  And there's a few rabbits in the music hat too!

I just found your podcast on i-tunes. I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. I once inherited an old French Angora bunny. I had no idea how fragile their health is. She contracted snuffles from some little dwarf pet store bunnies we had, and i nursed her through that. She certainly did have a personality, and I enjoyed taking her out for walks around the yard.
I would love to hear a sequel on how to actually work with the wool on the wheel. Do you prefer to card it with other fibers? What is your favorite project using Angora? What tips can you offer? Thanks!

I just found your podcast and am thoroughly enjoying it. I have wanted an Angora bunny for so long and hubby always says to wait until we have a bigger house. In the mean time, I found a teeny baby wild bunny at my community garden and it is now living in our bathroom quite wild and happy. In answer to your question, yes, wild bunnies do use the bathroom in the same place. While we are waiting to get a proper sized cage for wild bunny, we are using a tiny hamster cage (left open) with her food and litter in it. Sure enough she keeps the bathroom nearly spotless by doing her potty only in the bottom of the small cage as if it is a litter pan.
Love the podcast. I am learning so much. I wouldn\\\'t have gone near wool combs before you did your segment on them and now I want some!

I\'ve heard this podcast a while ago, but it is so much more relevant now that I have French angora rabbit. He is six months old and his wool is 4 inch long. He is not molting yet and look forward to pluck or cut his wool. I enjoy listening to your podcasts and thank you for spreading your love of spinning.
